Getting Started With Therapy

Doctor Referral

If you are ready to get started with therapy services, we will need a referral from your child's doctor.

New Patient Paperwork

We will also need paperwork filled out for your child in order for our therapists to be able to fully prepare to see your child. Children who have this paperwork completed in advance receive priority for scheduling.

Insurances Accepted

We are currently in network with all of the SC Medicaids & BabyNet. We are also in network most Blue Cross Blue Shield, TriCare, PAI, BlueChoice, Humana, and MedCost plans. Please contact us for more information about insurances.

What to expect on your first visit?

When you arrive at the clinic, you will be greeted by our Patient Care Coordinator and checked in so that the therapist doing your child's evaluation knows that you have arrived. At the time of the appointment, the therapist will call your child's name and ask you and your child to come with them. We then ask everyone to wash their hands.

When you arrive to the evaluation room, the therapist will gather any information that they may need from you about your child's medical and developmental history, as well as any concerns that you have.

A comprehensive evaluation will then be done that includes standardized assessments, observation, and interaction with your child.

Once this is complete, the therapist will share their initial observations and discuss whether therapy is recommended.

You can expect the evaluation to last approximately one hour.
